Have you ever wanted a completely customizable free self-hosted autoresponder script? To set the times you want? For as many messages and users as you want?

Infinite Responder is an autoresponder & newsletter hybrid that allows you to send as many messages, as many emails to as many lists as you want. It can behave as both a sequential autoresponder and a newsletter mailer.

I created it years ago in order to send out e-courses without buying a big, expensive package for hundreds (or thousands) of dollars. I wanted to be able to import my own lists and send from my own server without having to deal with the headaches of going thru a 3rd party.

And so here it is. Years of support and several bursts of development later we've got a pretty sophisticated package.

For this you will need:

A web server (Apache or IIS)
PHP 4.3 or greater (the 5.x series seems to work fine)
MySQL 4 or greater (MySQL 5 is highly recommended)
IMAP library is required for bounce and mail checking
Crontab for scheduled mail sending

Installation is pretty easy, but if you're not techie you might find the upload process or database setup a bit daunting. If you need help I've done quite a few professional installations of Infinite Responder. Why waste your time learning these skills when, for less than the cost of a business lunch, you can have the creator of the program do it for you? Along with the install you'll get 30 days of unlimited email support. Can't get an answer in the forums? Well just ask!

Installs are usually done within a day (often within hours) and only cost $30. All I need from you is your ftp and cpanel login information. If you don't have a hosting cpanel let me know, you can still get setup if you have any kind of back end database ability.

For faster service please verify that your host meets Infinite Responder's requirements. But don't worry, if I can't install the program because of something that's missing I'll be happy to refund you.

I tend to prefer payment up-front, it's just easier for both of us that way. Paypal is the preferred method, it's quick, easy and secure. Yes, I'm a verified user.

This script is released under the GPL, provided as gpl.txt in the archive.

The GPL requires that you maintain proper credit (the image at the bottom and links in the unsubscribe messages) and that any changes you make be redistributed. You can post code changes to the forum or send them to me via email, I'll repost them for others. Removing the "powered by" and credit links without an alternate license may effect your ability to receive support in the forums.

There are, however, some situations where the GPL isn't the perfect option. If you have clients and need to rebrand the script to fit their site, or if you want to operate w/o the image footer or links in the unsub message. I offer additional licensing capabilities that can allow you to rebrand and make changes w/o redistribution. This also includes unlimited free email support for up to a year, too.

A typical alternate license would cost around $200 and offer complete rebranding and private rights along with a year of unlimited email support.
